Conscious Consumerism (tm) or in other words, "stop chasing carrots"Ok so this is really commentary on my previous post, but really, have you ever noticed how much time the average person spends chasing carrots?Living their lives in "if only" and "when I" with eyes firmly focused on some fantasy about the future?
It doesn't matter what your carrot is, however it is essential that you know what yours is.
Without that knowledge you are doomed to be an unconscious consumer living each day for a potential future.
So what's your carrot?
More money?
A better body?
To be thinner?
To have more hair?
To have a partner?
To have a better job?
George Carlin once said, "nail two things together that have never been nailed together before and some schmuck will buy it.
There are wonderful products and services out there and I am not suggesting that you not purchase them, all I am suggesting is that you become conscious about it and check your motives!
