I admit it, I watch soap operas. Not American soap operas mind you, Korean ones.
Now relax and let me explain!
For the past few years now, I have been a fan of Korean TV. They have some really funny game shows, great docudramas and fun soaps.
The one I am watching now, which is on Monday-Friday, is called the Bizarre Bunch.
Ok..now in order for you to follow you need a little background on all this...so here goes.
This is the grandmother on the show. Suh Mal Ja. She is the head matriarch.
She is a high spirited, cantankerous old women who lives with one of her sons and his family...
This is the grandmother's son,Jang Jae Do, whom she lives with and his wife Minsook.
He is a sweet gentle man, who is good natured and wouldn't hurt a fly.
She is smart, loving and caring of her family and tries very hard to be a good mother and a good cook as well. So much so, that recently she started selling her own Kim Chee!
This is Kiwoong, their son: Always getting into trouble because he is always trying to help someone. Didn't go to college and has a temp position at his Uncles Home shopping show. (more on that later)
This is Da Jung, Kiwoongs sister, Minsook and Jae Do's
Daughter whom they were all very concerned about because no college was accepting her. She has recently gotten into an ok school.
Ok...that is one side of the family, stay tuned tomorrow to meet the rest of the "family"
