Christopher Gardner, at first glance, appears to have had no resources to become what he has become, but the reality is other wise.

Our life scripts, if they remain unaltered, determine the direction of our lives.
These scripts can in fact be altered but in Mr. Gardner's case his did not need to be altered at all. 

His determination for success and to take care of his son were clearly stated by Mr. Gardner's own website when he talks about the influence of his mother.

Despite a life of hardship and emotional scarring, his mother provided him with strong "spiritual genetics" and taught him some of the greatest lessons of his life, which he follows to this day. Bettye Jean convinced him that in spite of where he came from, he could attain whatever goals he set for himself by saying, "If you want to, one day you could make a million dollars." Gardner believed this to be fact, and knew he would have to find a career he could be passionate about, and one that would allow him to "be world-class at something."

Christmas and the Bible

When we read and study the bible in a literal way, we really do loose a tremendous amount of the value that it has.  This of course is true of all religious doctrine.

Christmas is often a time of great reflection and celebration of the miraculous birth of Christ.

His message of love and charity is often lost with the specifics of who he is supposed to be.
A fulfillment of Jewish prophecy.

1. The fact that he was born in Bethlehem is probably not true.
2. The fact that he was born from a virgin is also probably not true.

The bible is filled with contradiction and miss information but that never has to diminish what it has to offer us in terms of some really good ideas about life and living!

For some it matters a great deal, especially if you have a lot invested in your identity.

Tis the season to share our love and joy and to remember to celebrate a little bit of Christmas each and every day!

New book!

Well my new book is done and Sean is in the process of laying it out.

We needed some inspiration for the book cover and decided to take a trip over to Barnes and Nobles.

The book is in fact a relationship book (not like every other relationship book you have ever read of course)  That being said, all the books on relationships were mostly red or pinkish.....Yuk!

So Sean has his hands full coming up with an original concept!
