Recently I offered members of my virtual office at Dr. Eric's Prescription for life ,a workshop on self-hypnosis.
We did it on the phone on a conference bridge line and the class lasted TWO hours. The reviews were great.
As a student of human motivation and change, I have searched hi and low for methods to increase motivation and facilitate change.
Hypnosis, in my opinion, can help people achieve their goals faster and more efficiently than many other methods. This is because it takes advantage of the biggest aspect of a persons behavior....Thier subconscious mind.
According to research our sub-conscious minds are responsible for 88% of our behavior. Now in most cases this is a good thing. There is an old expression that says, "if a centipede had to think about ever step it took, it wouldn't get any were!" So that is the good news....however the bad news is that our life scripts are formed very early on and we are creatures that prefer knowns to un knowns so getting out of our comfort zone can be very challenging when 88% of us is pulling us back to what we know.
